While Eric is not working at El Corte, the excellent tango centre he has helped build up in the Netherlands, he travels the world teaching tango. His special teaching style attracts many people to his class, not least dancers from Edinburgh who travel to El Corte. We are lucky to have him in Edinburgh for his second visit, and hope you enjoy his classes.

,
The ETS have arranged a weekend at the Edinburgh University activities centre, at Firbush on Loch Tay. This is a residental centre, full catered with facilites and instruction for outdoor activities such as skiing, canoeing, mountain biking etc. The weekend starts on Friday night and ends Sunday afternoon, and will include tango workshops in the morning and evening, dancing at night and outdoor activites in the day time. This is the first time we have run this weekend, and we have only managed to get 30 places. The workshop is open to all ETS members, and can be booked when a letter is sent out in Janurary. The cost will be about £80 for the weekend. The places will go on a first come first served basis, with a preference for regular attendees of ETS events. If it goes well, we hope to arrange these sort of events more regularly, make them more accessible to those who can't come to weekly events, and invite people from elsewhere to come and join in too.

We hope to see her with Argentine teaching partner Eduardo Aguire in November.
She is visiting Edinburgh as part of a tour including Glasgow, Newcastle, Cambridge and London
