The weekly classes are complemented by weekend workshops with visiting professional teachers, run by the ETS. Teachers that have visited in since 1998 include David and Biljana from London, Biki and Muso from Arnhem, Claudia and Esteban from BsAs, Martina, Bennie and Dries, from Amsterdam, Eric Jorissen from Nijmegen, Zoraida Fontclara from BsAs, Nestor and Patricia from BsAs, Yvonne Meissner, Amsterdam, Eduardo Aguire from BsAs Pedro Andrade from Brussels, Alex
If you need advice on which class would be suitable for you , please ask at the practices. In general the post-beginners or improvers classes will be useful for everyone with less than 1 year of tango. The intermediate classes will be more challenging, but will be accessible to you if you getting the hang of it after about 6 months. The intermediate/advanced classes will be the most challenging.
Some classes you will need a partner, again ask around at the practices, or ask when you book.

While Eric is not working at El Corte, the excellent tango centre he has helped build up in the Netherlands, he travels the world teaching tango. - he has even be called 'the best tango teacher in the world!' His special teaching style attracts many people to his class, not least dancers from Edinburgh who travel to El Corte. We are lucky to have him in Edinburgh for his third visit, and hope you enjoy his classes. He will give 2 worksshop over the weekend suitable for those who have followed an introductory course and have experience dancing in a milonga. Unlike other workshops the saturday classes are not at a lower level than the sunday classes. There are spaces for 12 couples in each workshop, so book in advance, and we encourage participants to take both afternoons if possible

Julio will be teaching courses for three levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. The courses run over two days at the weekend, one evening class during the week and two practicas. We would encourage people to book for a full course to benefit most as he will build on material throughout the course. However, it will be possible to take the weekend package and the evening class separately. Julio will be providing help on the course material during the regular practicas for those who book for the courses. On Saturday 23rd Julio will give a general class in the afternoon. He will also be available for private classes most of the week - so take advantage! It is possible to take more than one level class - many people will find it useful to take both the beginners and improvers' classes. If you are not sure of your level check on the list below, or ask for advice.
