A Milonga or 'Salon' is the tango social dance - be it an evening or an afternoon dance. The Society organises a milonga every Tuesday and Sunday night. There are milongas on several other evenings and afternoons during the month too. Occasional salons are held on Saturday nights, including the Summer and Winter Balls. Most of the ETS milongas are organised by Toby, who DJ's on Sundays, there is a rota of DJ's from within local dancers on Tuesdays.

Tango Afternoon Brunch
Regular Saturday afternoon Tango Lunch and Tea at the Counting House, our main venue, a beautiful wooden-floored hall with bar and restaurant downstairs. (Occasional special events are also held here.) From 12-2pm there is a Brunch, and then dancing continues, usually til 5:30pm, with tea served in between

Special Milongas

The weekly events are casual dress, but for the saturday evening and special milongas, we try to dress elegantly (smart or sexy...)
