Gustavo Naveira and Giselle Anne

Gustavo Naveira and Giselle Anne are two of the world's leading exponents of the Tango Nuevo style of dancing, Naveira, a star of British director Sally Potter's 1997 movie, "The Tango Lesson", was the co-founder of Asociacion Cosmotango and one of the main organisers of the Congreso Internacional de Tango Argentino - Buenos Aires' leading annual Tango festival. His reputation as both a dancer and choreographer stems from analysis and investigation of Tango - which has allowed him to be the key figures in the development of Tango Nuevo, a style which blends traditional Tango with contemporary dance. Giselle Anne has starred in the world's leading Tango shows, including Tango Argentino, Tango Pasion, Mariano Mores, and Los Solistas de D'Arienzo. She has performed in America, Europe and Japan, and during five years residence in Spain (1992-1997) she worked founded a dance school and inaugurated the "Casa del Tango" (Tango House) in Seville. Together, they have performed to acclaim in Tango festivals around the world - among them Sitges (Barcelona), Neufchateau, Oslo, Paris, Amsterdam, Hannover, Karlsruhe, Dusseldorf, Porto, Madrid, London, Basel, Zurich, Bergen, Bardolino, Padua, Genoa, Fivizzano, and Bologna. When Gustavo and Giselle Anne are not touring internationally they are based in the Argentinian capital, Buenos Aires.

IMPORTANT:
The workshops will be held at The Roxy (the venue for the summer ball back in July),
NOT The Counting House as stated below.

We need to balance the numbers of followers and leaders in workshops and classes, so that nobody has to sit out. To help us do this, please book your place early. We will do our best to match numbers. If you book with a partner, you will definitely be able to take the workshop/class, as long as you book before all the places are filled. You are welcome to take a chance, but if you book late, or just turn up on the day, you may find you are unable to take the class. If you can only turn up on the day, to better ensure a place, arrive early.
