Hugo Carrasco and Monica Marcich

Monica Marcich and Hugo Carrasco met in 2005 to form a perfect Tango duo; with prior experience in dancing as well as teaching internationally and in Argentina, they hold over 10years of dancing experience. While performing together, Monica and Hugo realized the possibilities of creating various, distinct and unique shows in the Buenos Aires area and on a larger scale, in Argentina; taking them to: Homero Manzi (Av. San Juan 3601), Café Tortoni (Av. De Mayo 825) and Café Ideal, typical Tango locals where they can still be found dancing today! As time progressed and word spread Monica and Hugo began to travel to Chile and Italy, where they found great success in: Italy, P.D. (Tango Festival), Bologna (Tango Mania Summer and Buskergarden), Viareggio (Tango Festival); branching to other western European cities as Roma, Sienna, Verona, Lugano (New Style Dance) and Basel (Totem Dances). In addition to the international recognition of European festivals and studios they are also part of the Esquela Argentina del Tango (Bs.As.); were they teach and dance!
