BAILONGO 2! - A Celebration of Argentine Tango in the UK

3-5 December 2004

BAILONGO 2! brings together teachers of tango from all over the UK to give classes and perform in one of the UK's main tango festivals. More importantly it brings dancers from tango centres around the UK to meeting and dance together in Edinburgh. This is the second edition edition of Bailongo, which last year attracted over 130 people from all over the UK. It is organised by Jenny and Ricardo of "Rumbos de Tango", Edinburgh-based tango teachers well known across the UK. OVer 200 people are expected to take classes and attend the ETS Christmas Ball this year.

Expressive and spontaneous in performance, detailed and engaged in teaching, Jenny and Ricardo travel regularly to Buenos Aires to further their training with masters such as los Dinzel. They continue to dance in the sell-out show, The Tango Spell, with Pasodos Dance Company.
