Pablo Inza and Eugenia Parrilla

Pablo Inza is a leading figure in the contemporary tango scene. Since 1999 he has travelled around the world, performing at international festivals and teaching his unique dance style. Pablo also dedicates his time to theatre management. In Buenos Aires, he produces the Festival Cambalache (a fusion of tango, dance and theatre) and Runs Practica X, one of the most respected practicas in the city. Pablo studied Contemporary Dance (Teatro M G, San Martin), acting (ENAD), theatre management (ENAD-IUNA) and dramaturgy (CC Rojas), and he started dancing tango in 1991. He has developed a solid and creative dance style in an ongoing quest to expand the limits of tango. He is an excellent teacher with an immense capacity to analyse.
Pablo has participated as both dancer and choreographer in various tango events in Argentina and abroad. In 2002, he took “Radio Cabulero” to the Bergen International Tango Festival (Norway) and in 2003 brought “El arte de amar’’ to the Tango Magia festival (Holland). Since 2004 he has directed “El camion” (2001-02), “Matambre” (2003) and “Metrónomo” (2004), his debut production at the Festival Cambalache (Argentina).

Eugenia Parrilla has been pivotal in the development of a contemporary dancing style for women. The female role has been redefined by an attitude that shines through its plasticity and musicality. Investigation, use of dynamics and energy form an important part of her teaching vocabulary.
Eugenia natural and clear in her concept of movement, is one of the most exciting young dancers of the time.
