Tango on Loch Tay
The ETS arranges a twice yearly trip to the
Edinburgh University outdoor activities centre,
at Firbush on Loch Tay. This is a residental centre, full catered
with facilites and instruction for outdoor activities such as skiing,
canoeing, mountain biking etc, and a bar and dance floor for the
evening. The weekend starts on Friday night and ends Sunday
afternoon, and includes tango workshops in the morning and evening,
dancing at night and outdoor activites in the day time. There are
spaces for 36 ETS members and visitors from abroad. The workshop can
be booked now. The price covers accomodation, meals, outdoor
activties and 4 hours of tango classes.The weekend open to all levels
of dancers, with two levels of classes of 10 couples.
Firbush is 2 hours travel from Edinburgh by car or minibus. There is no public transport. Please take this into account when planning travel.

For the lessons the group will be split in two, both groups having 1 1/2 hour morning lessons on Satuday and Sunday, and each group having 1 hour on either Friday or Saturday
